What you should know using wood products in your home.

Wood burning units are a great heat source to make your home warm and comforting. As long as your wood is seasoned, you can have a nice fire during the cold months anytime you want.

Wood stoves, inserts and fireplaces have to meet  certain EPA standards. 

Wood stoves are extremely efficient by either a reburn system or catalyst that slows down the burn time, thus creating a longer time in between loading wood.  The new wood burning stoves, however do not work the same as the old wood stoves.  

Wood burning inserts can be installed into most pre-existing masonry wood fireplaces, and some pre-fabricated wood burning fireplaces. This will most certainly make your fireplace more efficient.

 High efficiency wood burning fireplaces are a great idea for a new build home. Open face fireplaces are not efficient but still adds warmth and a great atmosphere to any home.
